Remish helps Methacton stay unbeaten, top S-F in 10

METHACTON 10, SPRINGFORD

Nick Remish’s RBI double in the eighth inning delivered Methacton to an extra-inning PAC Liberty win over Spring-Ford Monday. Methacton improved to 6-0.

Remish was 3-for-3 with three RBI, Ben Clark was 2-for-2 and Ayden Fitch had a double and three RBI for the Warriors.

Austin Frank provided strong relief pitching for starter Evan Jones (4.1 IP, 6 ER, 6 K) while allowing two hits and zero earned runs in 3.2 innings.

Nick Flores had two hits and an RBI and Jake Witmer doubled and drove in a run for S-F (5-4).

POPE JOHN PAUL II 5, PHOENIXVIL­LE 0 >> Aidan Sgarra and Luke Terlesky combined on a four-hit shutout and Pope John Paul II scored a big PAC Frontier victory over Phoenixvil­le on Monday.

The Golden Panthers capitalize­d on a four-run third inning. Luke Dimaio was 2-for-2 (double) and Tyler Tindall (2 RBI) and Carson Glose and AJ Diaddezio (double) each drove in a run.

Sgarra had five strikeouts and four walks with two hits over four innings. Terlesky struck out six in three innings of relief.

Nico Nattle, in his first start since no-hitting Norristown, allowed nine hits and four earned runs over six innings for the Phantoms.

Giovani Vito had two hits for Phoenixvil­le.

BOYERTOWN 15, PERKIOMEN VALLEY 3 >> Boyertown came out on fire and scored in every inning of a five-inning defeat of Perk Valley in PAC Liberty contest Monday.

Ethan Sabatino and Brandon Pupek (two RBI) had two hits each for the Wildcats. Luke Murray allowed two runs in four innings for the pitching win and Neil threw two hitless innings of relief.

Softball

Jenna Fox drove in Aubrey Gilbert for Boyertown’s first run.

Strechay limited the Bears to three hits and one earned run over six innings. She struck out nine and walked two.

Ashley Carosi drove in PV’s lone run. SPRING-FORD 12, METHACTON 1 >> Jess Fliszar was a two-way star for SpringFord in a PAC Liberty win at Methacton. She was 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBI and allowed three hits and one run over six innings pitched.

Riley Gancasz had two hits and Ava Bainbridge and Kayla Naylor drove in two runs each for the Rams.

Sydney Hockenbroc­k drove in the Warriors’ lone run via solo home run. UPPER PERKIOMEN 13, POTTSTOWN 3 >> Upper Perk broke the game open with an eight-run third inning and went on to a five-inning PAC Frontier win over Pottstown.

Jocelyn Sledgen pitched five innings and allowed three hits and zero earned runs. She struck out seven.

Upper Perk only had six hits but utilized 13 walks.

Brooke Sullivan was 2-for-3 with two RBI

Keiara Lesley was 2-for-2 for Pottstown.

OWEN J. ROBERTS 15, NORRISTOWN 0 >> Grace Przborowsk­i homered, was 2-for-2 and had four RBI to lead OJR in a three-inning PAC Liberty win over Norristown Monday.

Bella Winnick was 3-for-3 with three RBI and Rachel Epps was 2-for-2 with a triple (RBI) for 14-hit OJR.

Winning pitcher Avery Pollard allowed one hit and struck out three in three shutout innings.

POPE JOHN PAUL II 5, PHOENIXVIL­LE 3 >>

PJP made the most of its three hits and Lexi DiBricida allowed four hits and two runs over seven innings to top Phoenixvil­le in PAC Frontier play Monday.

Charlie Hallman was 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI and Abby Simmers had a double and RBI to fuel the PJP offense.

For Phoenixvil­le, Natalia Thomas doubled twice and pitcher Katie Clarke struck out eight in six innings and had an inside-the-park home run.
