Swimmers advance

WARSAW - Culver Academy finished first and Plymouth sixth at the 12-school Warsaw Sectional for high school boys swimming Saturday. The top finisher in each event plus any contestant who equals or betters the state time standard advances to the state meet on Feb. 26. The top four divers qualify for Tuesday’s regionals. Local individuals moving on include Culver Academy’s Mitchell Schott (200 free, 500 free, 200 free relay 400 free relay), Reid Omilian (diving), Francis Ellert (200 free relay, 400 free relay), Cabot Ellert (200 free relay, 400 free relay) and Jacob Maibach (200 free relay, 400 free relay).

At the Penn Sectional, Bremen finished sixth out of nine schools.
