Marshall County turns Blue
according to the Indiana Department of Health’s latest update to their color-coded county metrics map, Starke County has maintained a Yellow classification, indicating moderate community spread, while Marshall County has moved down to the lowest classification, Blue, meaning there is minimal community spread.
While Marshall County received a Blue classification based on the 7-day positivity rate and weekly cases per 100,000 residents, the advisory level in place is still Yellow. In order to move to a lower advisory level, Marshall County will need to maintain the Blue status for a consecutive two weeks. Starke County also has a Yellow advisory Level in place.
Under the yellow advisory level, social gatherings can have up to 100 people in attendance. If a gathering is taking place
within an establishment, individuals are not permitted to exceed 50 percent facility capacity.
