Government meetings in Plymouth this week
There are several government meetings in Plymouth this week. The Board of Public Works and Safety meets at 6 p.m. on Monday. The Common Council meets at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, or whenever the Board of Public Works and Safety adjourns. The Board of aviation Commissioners meet Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m.
Here are the agendas for the meetings.
Board of Public Works and Safety:
The board will open bids for the demolition of 412 W. Garro Street. Department heads will give reports and Street Superintendent Jim Marquardt will present various requests including Cars and Coffee Street Closure, Wild Rose Moon, Heartland artists ARTS in the Street, and 249 Webster ave. Handicap Sign. City attorney Sean Surrisi will present 2021-2 Executive Order for Temporary Closure of Center Street for the
board’s approval.
Common Council:
After any unfinished business, the council will be presented with CF-1S from Pretzels Inc. and IWC Real Estate. Ordinance 2021-2178, an Ordinance Adopting a Property Registration Program for the City of Plymouth will be heard on first reading. Resolution 2021-940, a resolution of the City of Plymouth to create new funds will be presented to the council as well as Resolution 2021-941, a resolution to decrease appropriations in the General Fund. An update on Stellar Communities will be given. Public comments will be heard as long as they’re directed to agenda items.
Board of Aviation Commissioners:
The board will be presented with Mark Shillington’s, airport engineer, report as well as a report from Airport Manager Bill Sheley. The runway inspection report will be reviewed. Other business not listed on the agenda will be discussed, if any.
