Triton, MC Community Corrections, Town of Bourbon giving back to the community
Community Clean Up Monday, April 19
Eight clients of Marshall County Community Corrections will be participating in the Marshall County Community Clean Up Challenge Monday, april 19. The team will be cleaning litter within the City of Plymouth as part of what Director Ward Byers calls “give back” hours. “Our clients participating in Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT), a cognitive evidence-based program requires participants to ‘give back’ to the community they took from.”
He stated, “The Community Clean Up Project provides an excellent opportunity for them to ‘give back’. Community Corrections is proud to partner with Marshall County Stellar Committee and Community Clean up Project.”
Byers is also the President of the Bourbon Town Council. Bourbon is hosting a Bourbon Community Clean-up Day on Saturday, april 17. Triton School Corporation is hosting a “Triton Gives Back” clean up event on Thursday, april 22.
