Jeffery A. Ervin

November 22, 1954 - September 10, 2021

Jeffery A. Ervin, 66, of Bremen, passed away at 5:28 pm, Friday, Sept. 10, in Memorial Hospital of South Bend.

Jeff was born on Nov. 22, 1954 to Junior “Andy” and Mary Lou (Swank) Ervin.

On March 23, 1974, he married Darlene Hirstein.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Darlene; two children, Holli (Steve) Shively of Bremen and Corey Ervin of Camby, IN and five grandchildren, Kaelyn, Ashton, and Mikayla Shively and Alexia and Mckinley Ervin. He is also survived by his mother, Mary Lou Ervin of Bremen; brother, Joe (Cheryl) Ervin of Bremen, and sister-in-law, Becky Ervin of Bremen. He is preceded in death by his father, brother, Steve Ervin and his beloved dog and best friend, Brinley.

Jeff worked for Indiana carton of 44 years. He loved to ride motorcycles and was a well-known “Mr. Fix it” of anything mechanical or anything in general. He also was an avid hunter, enjoyed golfing, and was an amazing landscaper.

A time to visit with the family will be held from 10 a.m.1 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 22, in Mishler Funeral home, 2030 St Rd 331, Bremen. A memorial service to honor Jeff’s life will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home and his ashes will be buried in Bremen Cemetery. Pastor Neil Wonacott will officiate. The service will be streamed on Mishler Funeral Home’s Facebook page beginning at 1 p.m.
