The First United Methodist Church

PLYMOUTH — We are looking forward to seeing YOU. The First United Methodist Church is temporaril­y holding its “in-person” services at the United Church of Christ at the corner of N. Center and Adams streets. The UCC has very graciously opened their sanctuary for our use at 8:30 am and 11:15 am on Sunday mornings. Services will continue to be live streamed on Facebook and posted shortly after the service.

SACRAMENT OF HOLY BAPTISM: Henry Andrew Hydman, son of Andrew and Dominique Hyndman.

SUNDAY’S LITURGISTS: Elaine Dick at the 8:30 a.m. service and Debbie Dunning at the at 11:15 a.m. service. Organist Kay Finlay will play “Lead Me, Lord” for the prelude and “Comfort For My Soul ” for the anthem at the 11:15 a.m. service. Thomas Boys is pianist at the 8:30 a.m. service.

PASTOR TONI’S MESSAGE: In this second week of our series, we will be invited to climb another step in our journey toward greater commitment to Christ through the habit of hearing, reading, and reflecting on the words of Scripture found in the Bible. Bible reading can transform our lives by fostering a growing personal relationsh­ip with Jesus Christ.

Congregati­on will sing “Go Now In Peace” at the close of the service.

Almighty God, we dedicate ourselves to serve you, for you alone are our God. Through Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

“The Well”

PLYMOUTH — Come Join Us as we meet in person at 5:00 pm at THE WELL. Enter First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall at the Adams Street entrance! Cindy continues the Study of Miracles of Jesus, this week is “Feeding the 5000”. Grace Blanding will provide congregati­onal and worship music.

Social distancing, wearing masks, hand sanitizing. You may bring a personal snack/beverage but we will not be sharing food. If you have any questions, please call Cindy at 574-952-3661. We will continue to live stream the message on Face Book for our friends at home! I’ll meet you at The Well!

NOTE - - The Well Wednesday Bible Study will meet on Wednesday evening at 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm. We are studying the book of John. Bring your Bible. If you need a Bible contact Cindy Flagg and she will make sure you receive one!
