New Pastor at the First United Methodist Church

PLYMOUTH — Come and meet our new Pastor Rev. Byron Kaiser. It’s time for you to join us in church as we are looking forward to seeing YOU. The UCC has very graciously opened their sanctuary for our use at 8:30 am and 11:15 am on Sunday. Services will continue to be live streamed on Facebook and posted shortly after the service.

SPECIAL MUSIC: Organist Kay Finlay will play “Night of Wonder” for the prelude and “O Little Town of Bethlehem” for the anthem at the 11:15 a.m. service. Thomas Boys is pianist at the 8:30 a.m. service.

SUNDAY’S LITURGISTS: Jim Easterday at the 8:30 a.m. service and Jim Causey at the 11:15 a.m. service. Pastor Byron’s MESSAGE: “Who Are You?” SACRAMENT OF HOLY COMMUNION — All are welcome at Christ’s table to receive the sacrament of Holy Communion. A Suggestion: to take communion for those watching the service on line - - take a cracker or a slice of bread and some grape juice and follow Pastor Byron’s guidance during the sacrament.

Congregational Benediction “Go Now In Peace” will be sung at the close of the service.

LET US PRAY: God of this day and all days! We can only imagine the darkness of the world into which you sent your son – a world that believed that salvation rested on our ability to follow the rules. Jesus came to bring light into that darkness, and into our darkness. As we bring our tithes and offering to you this day, transform them into light for the hungry, for the hopeless, for the forgotten and the oppressed. We will share his light in us! In Christ, we pray. Amen.
