Patricia A. Helton

Patricia A. Helton age 65, of Bourbon, Indiana passed away Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021 in Woodlawn Hospital of Rochester, Indiana.

Pat was born the daughter of Darwin and Mattie (Troyer) Williams on Sept. 11, 1956 in Knox, Indiana and she was a graduate of Knox High School. She had been a resident of Bourbon for the past 30 years. She retired from her career as a parts manager at Indiana Heat. Her favorite things were her cats and dogs, but most important was her family. Pat had a strong faith as she was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ in Argos.

On Aug. 11, 1979 she married the love of her life, Harold Helton. They shared 28 years together until his passing April 18, 2007. She will be missed by her daughter, Racheal Helton; her companion, Allen Gallinger of Bourbon; and her son Lon C. (Frances) Helton of Bourbon. She was also blessed with her grandchild­ren: Kane Lackey and girlfriend Kerrigan Smith; Vincent (Maci) Helton; Thomas Andrews; Kassandra (Kevin) Summe; and Gavin Anderson. Also surviving are her sisters: Sally Spicer of Plymouth; Julia (Harvey) Sliter of Plymouth; Bonnie (Bill) Sauer of Kewanna; Dorothy Williams of Knox; Lil Haddix of Knox; her brothers: Steve (Cheryl) Williams of Atlanta, GA; and Dallas Williams of Bremen, IN.

Preceding Pat in death were her parents; husband Harold; and thirteen siblings.

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2022 from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. in The Church of Jesus Christ (15676 Michigan Rd, Argos, IN 46501). Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Jimmy Snyder officiatin­g.

Burial will take place in Pleasant Hill Cemetery (Bourbon, IN).

The family asks for memorial contributi­ons to be given to her church in Pat’s memory.

Face masks are suggested during visitation and funeral service due to our county being in the “Red Covid19 designatio­n” at this time.

The family wants to thank all our friends and community for your support during this difficult time.
