If you have had Monday’s all week - You’ll need our Sundays at the First United Methodist Church

PLYMOUTH — Hey! Come join us in church. You’ll be glad you did as we are looking forward to seeing YOU and will welcome you warmly. The UCC has very graciously opened their sanctuary for our use at 8:30 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. on Sunday. Services will continue to be live streamed on Facebook and posted shortly after the service.

SPECIAL MUSIC: Pianist Sarah Smith and Organist Kay Finlay will play “Who Is On The Lord’s Side?” for the prelude and “Be Thou My Vision” for the anthem at the 11:15 a.m. service. Thomas Boys is pianist at the 8:30 a.m. service.

SUNDAY’S LITURGISTS: David Smith at the 8:30 a.m. service and Amanda Witt at the 11:15 a.m. service.

Pastor Byron’s MESSAGE: “What’s the Metal of Your Love?” We get a little reprieve culturally before we hear those immortal words, “Catchers and pitchers report!” We continue our reading of Jesus’ words recorded in the Gospel of Luke. Here Jesus lays out the “Golden Rule.” But what can be better than the Golden Rule - The Platinum Rule!

Congregational Benediction “Go Now In Peace” will be sung at the close of the service.

LET US PRAY: Eternal God, we give you thanks in which you have given yourself to us. Grant that we may go into the world in the strength of your spirit, to give ourselves to others, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
