Ronnie D. Jackson

June 28, 1949 - May 2, 2022

Ronnie D. Jackson, 72, of Tippecanoe, Indiana made his final deal and traded his earthly home for a heavenly one at 2:23 a.m., Monday, May 2, 2022 at Lutheran Hospital of Ft. Wayne, Indiana.

Ronnie was born on June 28, 1949 in Warsaw, Indiana to Earl and Emma (Jackson) Jackson.

He had worked for the foundries in Tippecanoe and Rochester. He retired in 1999. He enjoyed buying, selling, and trading all kinds of things. He also liked to work on CB radios and participate in car shows with his collection.

He is survived by his daughter Dawn Jackson of Akron; son Edward Jackson of Tippecanoe; grandchildren Robert, Kevin, Devon, Ricky, and Olivia; 7 Great Grandchildren; step daughters Sherri Foust of Plymouth and Stephanie and husband Dave Long of Tippecanoe; and a brother Garrett and wife Barb Jackson of Roann.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, son Ronnie Jackson Jr., sisters Brenda Honeycutt and Linda Jackson, and his dog Zeus.

The funeral service will take place at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, May 5, 2022 King Memorial Home 101 North Tucker Street Mentone, Indiana with visitation one hour prior to the service.

The interment will take place in the Tippecanoe Cemetery, Tippecanoe, Indiana.

Visitation hours will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at King Memorial Home, Mentone, Indiana.
