Plymouth holds National Day of Prayer Breakfast
PLYMOUTH — Mayor Mark Senter held the annual Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast on the National Day of Prayer Thursday morning. Keynote speaker for the event was Pete Smith, a long time friend of Senter’s.
Smith shared reflections and inspiration from his experiences with God and man over three decades of educating and coaching. Smith now works as a Business Development Specialist
for Performance Services.
Jan Houin of Operation: Quiet Comfort collected cards written to those who are serving. Volunteers are appreciated to pack boxes on the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Contact Houin at janh@operationquietcomfort.com.
Linda Starr led guests in singing the National Anthem. Pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church Kayla Grehl led the Invocation and Pastor of Church of the Brethren Tom Anders led the Benediction. Troop #251 and #257 led the Pledge of Allegiance.
