FRIDAY, MAY 6

• This year the PHS Performing Arts Department’s spring musical is The Addams Family. This award winning Broadway musical is based off of the beloved 1960’s television series and is sure to be a fun evening for all. Performanc­es will be Friday, May 6, and Saturday, May 7 in the PHS Auditorium. Showtime is 7:00 PM both evenings and doors will open 30 minutes before each show for festival seating. Tickets are $8.00 and will be sold at the door.

• Plymouth Elks Lodge will be having the following Friday Night Specials: Fish (AUCE), Jumbo Shrimp, Shrimp and fish, two grilled pork chops. The meal includes salad bar-potato-dessert. There is also a fish basket and pulled pork platter. That meal includes salad-potato-dessert. They are serving from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Carry outs are available, call 935-5511.

SATURDAY, MAY 7

• The Friends of the Argos Public Library will hold its annual Plant, Book, and Bake Sale on Saturday, May 7 at 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in front of the library. Donations of plants and baked goods are appreciate­d. Call the Argos Public Library for questions at 574-892-5818.

• Plymouth First United Methodist Church, located at 400 North Michigan Street, is having a Pork Tenderloin Sandwich with Fries Fundraiser, cooked by Ralph Smith, on Saturday, May 7, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the west parking lot (by Red D Mart). Drive-thru service only. The cost is $10 for a sandwich and fries. Proceeds to benefit Mission Trips. Contact the church at 574-936-2943 for ticket informatio­n.

SUNDAY, MAY 8

• The Knights of Columbus, located at 901 E. Jefferson Street in Plymouth, is holding Sunday Pancake Breakfast. It is All You Can Eat. It will be held from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tickets are $5 each. Dine-in Breakfast includes: Regular and Blueberry Pancakes, French toast, sausage, eggs, coffee, OJ, milk, and tomato juice. Carry-outs are available. Drive-thru includes: 3 regular pancakes, 4 sausage links or patties, scrambled egges, 1 syrup packet. Proceeds go to local charities and churches. For more informatio­n, call 574-952-0307. There will not be a breakfast in June, but there will be in July.

MONDAY, MAY 9

• The Maxinkucke­e Singers and Players are putting on their Singers Spring Tour. Admission is free for all shows and all shows start at 7:30 p.m. EST with doors opening at 7 p.m. EST. Show dates are as follows:

Monday, May 9th at Grace United Church of Christ, located at 307 N. Plymouth Street.

Tuesday, May 10th in Plymouth at Church of the Brethren- 1130 N. Michigan St.

Wednesday, May 11th in Argos at United Methodist Church- 570 N. Michigan St.

Thursday, May 12th in Knox at United Methodist Church- 201 S. Shield St.

The Maxinkucke­e Players will be holding auditions for their 2022 production of “The Sound of Music”. Auditions will be held at the Culver Community High School on Saturday, May 14th from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm EST and Sunday, May 15th from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm EST. Those auditionin­g should come prepared to sing an audition song of your choice and read lines from the provided scripts for your audition. TUESDAY, MAY 10

• Did you know that you can learn how to knit or crochet at our building? Experience­d stitchers meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month at 9 a.m. to fellowship and knit or crochet. They are more than willing to teach anyone how to knit or crochet. Plan to join them at 9 a.m. at Marshall County Council on Aging/life Enrichment Center, 1305 W. Harrison St., Plymouth some Tuesday soon.
