Lady Falcons win slugfest

KOUTS - Mckenzie Timm threw another complete game and got the win as the Glenn softball team defeated Kouts, 16-13. The teams combined for 17 runs in the seventh inning alone. Offensivel­y for the Lady Falcons Kendall Goodlink went 4-for-5 with 3 RBIS, Hannah Banks was 2-for-2, while Riley Rittenhous­e, Mia Collins and Natalie Beem each contribute­d two hits as well.

Glenn is now 8-8 headed into conference action today at New Prairie.

HOBART - After six scoreless innings, the Argos and River Forest game was decided in the bottom of the seventh inning with the host Ingots edgind the Lady Dragons, 3-2. Kendra Burkholder put Argos on the board with a squeeze bunt to score Allison Zahm. Lily Mcmillen also had an RBI for a two-run lead, but River Forest was able to push three runs across in the bottom half for the win. Lineberry, Zahm and Baughman had Argos’ three hits. Allison Zahm pitched all seven innings, walking just two and striking out seven.
