Falcons sweep tourney
LAKELAND - Glenn won the Lakeland Tournament in impressive fashion, taking down Central Noble, a regional qualifier last year, 23-5, in the championship game. The Falcons pounded out 23 hits in the win. Seven players had multiple hits and RBIS. Brycen Hannah had four hits and a career-high seven runs driven in. His game included two doubles and a grand slam. Braylon Smith, Joey Shoue and Joe Chrapliwy all contributed three hits. Colin Stephens, Chase Miller and winning pitcher Nathan Marshman all had 2 RBIS each.
Glenn has won 14 consecutive games and plays NIC foe New Prairie at home on Monday at 5:30.
