BHS math team places 6th overall in state competition
WEST LAFAYETTE—THE Bremen High School Math academic Super Bowl Team, coached by Kathy Cullers, placed sixth overall during the State Championship at Purdue University on Saturday, May 7. In their own class, they placed second, winning state runner-up. There were 24 state finalist teams competing at the Championship.
“The BHS Team answered 21 out of 25 questions (and 17 consecutive questions in a row) correctly,” commended Principal Bruce Jennings. “Had they answered the final question correctly, they would have been declared State Champions in Class three!”
