BHS math team places 6th overall in state competitio­n

WEST LAFAYETTE—THE Bremen High School Math academic Super Bowl Team, coached by Kathy Cullers, placed sixth overall during the State Championsh­ip at Purdue University on Saturday, May 7. In their own class, they placed second, winning state runner-up. There were 24 state finalist teams competing at the Championsh­ip.

“The BHS Team answered 21 out of 25 questions (and 17 consecutiv­e questions in a row) correctly,” commended Principal Bruce Jennings. “Had they answered the final question correctly, they would have been declared State Champions in Class three!”
