• Brief Legal Clinic is today at noon at Marshall County Council on Aging/life Enrichment Center, 1305 W. Harrison St., Plymouth. Free 30 minute consultati­on sessions with an attorney are scheduled by calling us at 574-936-9904. No walk-ins are accepted.

• Marshall County Historical Society Museum is sponsoring one of our popular Brown Bag Events on Friday May 13, 2022 from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. We will meet at the Museum at 123 N. Michigan Street in Plymouth. The presentati­on will be an “Anthology of Uncommon Hoosier History: a portfolio of stories assembled from over 200 National Register nomination­s across Indiana.” Kurt Garner’s presentati­on will highlight select stories about obscure people and places represente­d by the structures they left behind. The stories are culled from Garner’s work with the National Register of Historic Places covering three-quarters of Indiana’s counties. He will reach deep into the state’s history from its beginnings through the modern preservati­on movement. This will be extremely interestin­g! Pack a lunch and join us!

• The Plymouth Elks Lodge will be serving the following Friday Night Specials: Fish (AUCE), Jumbo Shrimp, Chicken and Noodles, Swiss Steak, New York Strip Steak. The meal includes salad bar-potato-dessert. Serving from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Carry outs are available at 574-9355511.

• Link to Hope will be hosting a biscuits and gravy breakfast fundraiser at the Plymouth Farmers Market on Saturday, May 14 from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Proceeds go to serving those in need throughout Marshall County with rent, utilities, and other approved assistance.
