LJH wins two

PLYMOUTH — The Lincoln Junior High boys track team picked up two victories this week. On Monday, the boys defeated Wawasee, 72-40, then Bremen on Tuesday by a score of 76-33.

Individual first place finishers for the Red Storm on Monday were John Klinedinst in discus, Finn Holm in long jump, Zayne Trevino in the 100 hurdles/100 meter dash/200 hurdles, Brady Coffin in high jump, Ethan O’leary in the 400, and Brody Shortt in the 200 meter hurdles. The 4x100m relay team of Trevino, Coffin, Coen Kraemer, and Holm placed first, as did the 4x400 relay team of Jordan Gast, Holm, Ethan O’leary, and Kraemer.

Individual first place finishers from the Bremen meet were John Klinedinst in discus, Trevino in the 100/100 hurdles/200 hurdles, Kramer in the 400, and Hunter Shipley in the mile. The 4x100m relay team of Trevino, Coffin, Gast, and Holm placed first, as did the 4x400m relay team of Gast, Holm, O’leary, and Kraemer.

The boys are back in action for the final time on Saturday where they will look to take home a conference championsh­ip. The meet is at PHS with field events starting at 9 a.m. and running events at 10.
