Dizzy Busy Summer!

Can it be?! Is the weather FINALLY going to warm up? I sure hope so…we have had plenty of cold, dreary days. As summer gets closer, calendars fill up quickly. Here are some highlights:

You can schedule an appointment by going to www.givebloodnow. com and using the code Plymouth. You can also call the Mayor’s Office, 574-936-6717, to schedule an appointment. Remember, all the blood collected by the South Bend Medical Foundation stays in our local hospitals and each unit collected can save up to 3 LOCAL lives.

Plymouth High School Seniors will be turning their tassels on Friday, June 3rd at 7:30 pm at The Rockpile…aka the Plymouth High School football field. Congratulations to all of the graduates and best of luck in your future endeavors.

Every first Saturday morning of each month you can enjoy CARS & COFFEE on W. Jefferson near the Quick Lanes. Come out and check some amazing autos of the past along with free doughnuts and coffee from The Lodge.

The P-town Cruz’n Car Show will be at River Park Square on Saturday, June 11th from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm. The P-town Cruz’n is an annual car show with no Class Restrictions and no judges. You will take your gold coins to the Marshall County Museum by 3:00 pm on Saturday, June 18th and exchange them for entry tickets to a drawing. You will have the chance to win 1 of 3 prize baskets.

The Summer Sippin’ Craft Brewfest will held on Saturday, June 18th at River Park Square. This event is held to provide excellent craft brews, food, and music to those supporting a good cause, while benefitting local charity. This year all proceeds will benefit the Plymouth Volunteer Fire Department. Tickets should be on sale soon.

July is going to be another busy month, too! Downtown Sidewalk Sales are July 14th16th. The Downtown Tractor Show will be on Saturday, July 23rd and Art in the Street will be on July 30th. We’ll have more details on those events later in the summer

There will be plenty of opportunity to spend “another beautiful day in Plymouth, Indiana”! -Mayor Mark
