Cavs explode for 23 runs

DEMOTTE - The Culver HS softball team started its game against Covenant Christian with 10 first-inning runs and ended it with a 12-run final inning to win, 23-11. Kaylee Hamilton (2B), Zoey Hunnicutt, Luci Overmyer and Marissa Milam (2B) each had 3 RBIS. Kaitlyn Kanschat had three hits for the Lady Cavaliers. AJ Hinds was the winning pitcher, allowing just two earned runs and five hits in five innings while striking out seven.
