High school tennis sectionals are here

INDIANAPOLIS — The sectional pairings for the 47th annual high school girls tennis state tournament were announced Monday night. Locally, Bremen is the site for Sectional 49 and Culver Academy for Sectional 50.

At Bremen, Plymouth and Glenn will meet in the only match Wednesday. That winner will face Bremen on Thursday in one of the semifinal matches. The other semi has Laville going up against Triton. The championship will be played on Friday. All matches are a 5 p.m. start time.

At Culver Academy, CGA will play North Judson. A win there and the next opponent would be either Knox or Rochester.

Bremen and CGA are the defending sectional champs. There was no high school girls tennis in 2020 due to the pandemic. The Bremen Sectional and Culver Academy Sectional winners head to the Culver Academy Regional on May 24.
