George T. White

February 19, 1949 - May 15, 2022

George T. White, age 73 of Etna Green, IN, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 15, 2022 surrounded by his family in Woodlawn Hospital of Rochester, IN.

George was born to Harold E. and Julia B. (Conrad) White on Feb. 19, 1949. He was a lifelong resident of the area and married Debra Kay Decent. He was a 1967 graduate of Triton High School. He served in the United States Army and worked at White’s Service with his father as well as driving a school bus for Triton School Corporation. He enjoyed running, biking, skiing, horse racing, and the Indy 500. He attended the Etna Green Church of Christ.

George will be greatly missed by his wife, Debra; his daughters: Terri (Jeremy) May of Bourbon, IN; Kimberly (William) Rhodus of Hamilton, OH; Sarah White of Newport, KY; his grandchildren: Shayla May; Alysha May; Makenna May; Javan May; Elijah George Rhodus; Adrielle Rhodus; Ezra Rhodus; Ephrym Rhodus; Exander Rhodus; his sisters: Gail Albright of Loveland, OH; Ginger Ros of Muncie, IN; his brother, Gregory Joe (Cathy) White of Bourbon, IN.

George was preceded in death by his parents, Harold (Wormie) and Julia White.

Cremation has been chosen and a Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date.
