HS track JG wraps up

MISHAWAKA - The Glenn HS girls track season officially came to an end Tuesday night at the Mishawaka Sectional. Although no athlete advanced to regionals, the Lady Falcons competed well with several new PR’S. Michaela Hurford finished 5th overall in discus and advanced to the final round of shot put with a nearly one foot PR at 28-8.5. Sophia Romer placed 7th in the 100 hurdles, coming close to a new PR at 17.59 in the prelims. The 1600 runners, Katelynn Braun and Ciara Vincent, both set new PR’S at 6:03 and 6:10, respectively. Taylor Mcvoy set a new mark in long jump at 13-1.
