Sherk, Goze advance

MISHAWAKA - The Laville HS girls track team finished fifth at the Mishawaka Sectional Tuesday night and advanced two individuals to next week’s regional. Lucy Sherk won the shot put for the second year in a row with her new personal record throw of 34-8. Olivia Goze finished third in the long jump and the 100m dash to advance in both events. Another highlight was Olivia Leonhard’s new school record in the pole vault (8-0) while finishing fifth.
