MISHAWAKA — Laville finished fifth and Glenn seventh at the highly competitive high school boys track and field Penn Sectional.

Laville claimed four top-3 spots to qualify for next week’s regional. Lancers qualifying were Garrett Wagoner (1st shot put), Lincoln Hulsey (2nd pole vault), AJ Bedock (3rd discus) and Owen Smith (3rd 200m). Also advancing due to callbacks were Erik Bedock (shot put) and Matthew Schaefer (pole vault). Glenn’s Julian Mcmahan was second in the 200, with the same time as LV’S Smith, to advance in that event.
