Walkerton-lincoln Township Public Library hosts Meet the Candidates

Join the Walkerton-lincoln Township Public Library as we host Meet the Candidates on Tuesday, Oct. 25 at 6 p.m. This event will take place at Urey Middle School in the gymnasium. We will have candidates from the Democratic, Republican, and Libertarian Parties as well and non-partisan candidates for the John Glenn School Board. We are very excited about this event.

To date we have the following candidates confirmed to appear: House of Representatives District 7- Ross Deal & Jake Teshka, Congress-william Henry & Paul Steury, County Auditor-john Murphy & Desmond Upchurch, County Assessor-ted Booker & Mike Castellon, County Sheriff-kevin Mcgowan, Walkerton Town Board-gene Reese, Lincoln Township Trustee-charles Kulp, Lincoln Township Trustee Advisory Board-ethan Barden, Elizabeth Drotar, & Avalon Morris, John Glenn School Boardchristine Carson, Rick Coffman, Tyler Duff, George Elia, Monica Kulp, Megan Lawler, Todd Mcgaughey, Korey Pulluaim, & Carissa Smith.

The main event will allow each candidate three minutes to introduce themselves and then answer some questions that have been contributed by the community to Jennifer Cygert prior to the event. These questions will be reviewed and as many as possible asked during the event. Feel free to email Jennifer any questions you may have. Following the gathering we will have a time for you to meet the candidates one on one with coffee and cookies donated by Walkerton Subway.
