Registered sex offender arrested for failure to register new address
Robert Lee Perez Jr. is a registered sex offender having been convicted of
Child Molesting through
Fulton County under cause number 25C010404-FB-28. He is classified as a sex offender with a 10 year requirement to register annually as well as any change of information including but not limited to residence and employment within 72 hours of the change.
Marshall County Police received information advising that Robert Perez is living at an address in Plymouth which he has not registered. Robert Perez has a registered home address in Monterey, Indiana through Pulaski County. Perez is registered in Marshall County for employment only.
Through the investigation, it was found that Robert Perez had been living at the address of 821 N Michigan Street in Plymouth since March of 2022 without registering that address. Robert Perez was found to have four prior convictions for failure to to register as a sex offender. A warrant was issued for his arrest for the crime of Failure to register as s sex offender with a prior conviction as a level 5 felony and a cash bond set in the amount of $10,000. On Oct. 31, Perez was located at the residence of 821 N Michigan Street and taken into custody.
