• The Women’s Connection will be holding their Indian Summer on Nov. 2 starting at 11:30 a.m. The price is $14 inclusive. It will be held at Christo’s Banquet Center, located at 830 E. Lincolnway in Plymouth. The special speaker is Lesta Anderson, a financial advisor, will share her story. The special feature is Jackie Alcon of Argos and will bring her primitive star quilt shop to show. Special Music will be Phyllis Stiles of Plymouth. • Who would speak for you if you couldn’t speak for yourself in a health crisis? Join us for a free advance care planning presentati­on provided by Honoring Choices staff. Advance care planning ensures that others know and follow your wishes if you cannot speak for yourself. It allows you to have control over your medical care, no matter what happens. This will be a Lunch and Learn with free lunch at 11:30 a.m. followed by the presentati­on. This presentati­on will be at Life Enrichment Center/marshall County Council on Aging, 1305 W. • The Class of 1958 will have their luncheons every Wednesday in November at Christos Family Dining, located at 2227 North Michigan Street in Plymouth. We would like to get started at 11:30 a.m. each Wednesday.

• St. Thomas/santo Tomás at 400 North Center Street will be commemorat­ing All Soul’s Day/ Día de los Muertos. The tradition of Halloween comes from the remembranc­e of All Souls Day- a time when families would pray and remember loved ones who had died. The loved ones were believed to have been present during All Hollow’s Eve Celebratio­ns. St. Thomas/santo Tomás will be open for anyone to come and write the names of loved ones and to light a candle. You can also bring pictures of loved ones to place on the altar/ la ofrenda. The names will be read at a bilingual prayer and communion service on Wednesday November 2nd at 6:15pm. All are welcome.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 3

• The last meeting for Marshall County Retired Teachers during 2022 will be Thursday, November 3, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 425 S. Michigan Street in Plymouth. Doors will open at 11 am for registrati­on and social gathering. The meal will be served at 11:30. Reservatio­ns for lunch should be called in to Marj Snider at 574-936-2927 no later than Saturday, October 29. After lunch there will be a brief business meeting and a memorial tribute for those teachers who have passed away during the past year. Our speaker will be Joshua Pitts, Director of Programs for the Marshall County Jail. Come join us for our final event of the year!

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 5

• On Saturday, Nov. 5, Quentin Flagg and sidekick Chicago Ed will be performing at the Knights of Columbus Hall, located at 901 E. Jefferson to assist the associatio­n in acquiring Lare funded grants from the State of Indiana. Food will be available as well as door prizes and raffles for the wonderful gifts that our downtown merchants have donated. Tickets are available at the door for $15 each. THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 10

• Whether you are a beginner or advanced Photograph­er, the Heartland Camera Club invites you to join their group. Joining a photo club is the best way to advance your skills. Meetings generally consist of a program on photograph­y and also a chance to shoot and share your photos each month on an assigned topic. They have outings occassiona­lly to shoot photos as a group. Membership is free. The club meets every 2nd Thursday of the month starting at 7 p.m. at the Life Enrichment Center, located at 1305 W. Harrison Street in Plymouth.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 12

• There will be a Bethlehem Market Craft Show from 8:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the First United Church of Christ, located at 321 N. Center Street. It will have local crafters, artists, and vendors available. Homemade baked goods and confection­s are being prepared by the Women of the Church which will be available for purchase. • Blissville Church is holding its Annual Turkey Supper from 4:30 p.m. till gone. Free will donations will be accepted. The event is located at 6250 Spruce Trail in Plymouth.

• The Maxinkucke­e Odd Fellows will be serving Pancakes and Sausage, Biscuits and Gravy on Saturday, Nov. 12 from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. EST. It will be located at 15033 18B Road and Pine Road (South of SR10 between Culver and Argos). This is all you can eat. Adults are $10 and Children are $8. Bake sale items support Walnut Explores.
