Wilma A. Jacobs-jensen June 11, 1928 - February 1, 2023

Wilma A. Jacobs-jensen, 94 years old, passed away at 8:05 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2023 at Signature Healthcare of Bremen. Wilma was born on June 11, 1928 in Lakeville to the late George and Mollie (Beam) Luke. She has remained a lifelong resident of Lakeville. On May 9, 1946 in Lakeville, Wilma and Jack Jacobs were united in marriage. Jack preceded her in death on May 9, 1978. On Aug. 28, 1982 in South Bend, Wilma and Robert Jensen were united in marriage. Robert preceded her in death on Sept. 27, 2002. Wilma was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Roger Abigt; her step-daughter, Theresa Jensen; and her brother, Truman Luke. Wilma retired from Union-north United School Corporatio­n in 1991 after over 20 years as a cook.

Wilma is survived by her five children and her stepson, Jacquelyn Abigt, Lucinda (Bruce) Shidler, Todd (Desiree) Jacobs, Phillip (Kim) Jacobs, Brian (Vonda) Jacobs and Mark (Cindy) Jensen; 13 grandchild­ren; 12 great grandchild­ren; and 8 great-great grandchild­ren. She is also survived by her companion of the past 17 years, Glen.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2023 at the Palmer Funeral Home, within the Palmer Community Complex, 601 N. Michigan Street, Lakeville. Graveside services and burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth. Friends may visit with the family beginning at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
