CMA 2nd, relay off to state

WARSAW — Culver Academy’s boys swim team placed second out of 12 teams at the Warsaw Sectional Saturday. Plymouth was eighth. CMA’S 400 freestyle relay team qualified for the state meet by finishing first. The first place finisher in each swim event qualifies for state. The top four in diving qualify for the diving regional Feb. 21 at Mishawaka HS. CMA also had second place finishes in the 200 free, 50 free, and 200 free relay. Plymouth’s top finishes were third place in the 100 backstroke and 100 breaststroke by Fitz Holm and Joe Stauffer, respectively.
