Happy 50th Anniversary!

The children of Rev. Paul "Michael" Dixon and Deborah "Deb" (Pearish) Dixon happily announce their parents' 50th wedding anniversary. Mike and Deb were married on February 24, 1973 at the Old Country Church in Bourbon, Indiana, surrounded by family and friends. Fifty years later, their union has blessed them with three daughters; Jennifer (Dixon) Lawrence (spouse Charles Lawrence), Lisa (Dixon) Cooper (spouse Joseph Cooper Jr.), and Heidi (Dixon) Mahan (spouse Adam Mahan). They also have been blessed with four grandchildren; Sebastian Cooper, Landon Cooper, Lydia Cooper and Lilli Mahan. Deb was born in Plymouth, IN and met Mike (resident of Muncie, IN) at Ball State University and fell in love. After marriage, the couple moved to Plymouth, IN in 1973 to build their life together. Mike has served in the ministry of the United Methodist Church for over 30 years and he continues to serve in the ministry parttime. Deb retired from Miller's Merry Manor in 2013 after working there for over 40 years. Mike and Deb continue to live in the same Plymouth home they purchased in 1983 and enjoy spending time with their family, reading, doing crafts and puzzles, being in nature, cheering on their favorite teams (Notre Dame, IU, Indianapolis Colts, and the Cincinnati Reds), serving their church and have proudly been an active supporter of the Democratic party in Marshall County throughout their lives. Mike and Deb's family would like to welcome others to help them in the celebration of this milestone through a card shower.
