Etta Elliott September 14, 1945 - February 22, 2023

Etta Elliott, age 77 of Tippecanoe, IN, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2023 in Bremen Community Hospital of Bremen, IN.

Etta was born to John and Lucinda (Ratliff) Patton on Sept. 14, 1945 in Maytown, KY. She was a longtime resident of the area and attended Grace Outreach Fellowship in Tippecanoe, IN. She married

Donald Elliott, Sr. on Sept. 5, 1964. She enjoyed word searches, sewing, especially quilting, drawing, and painting her drawings, visiting with her friends and spending time with her family. She was known for her huge compassion to teaching Bible school in her own backyard. It was a passion of hers that involved all the Tippecanoe community kids. She loved sharing the word and leading people to the Lord.

Etta is survived by her husband, Donald Elliott, Sr.; her son, Donald (Alane) Elliott Jr. of Argos, IN; her daughter-in-law, Tina (Mike) Brubaker of Rochester, IN; her grandchild­ren: Dustin (Kelly) Elliott of Bourbon, IN; Denny (Josie) Elliott of Mentone, IN; and Michaela Brubaker of Boston, MA; her 6 great-grandchild­ren; and her sister, Pauline (Darrell) Whitehead.

Etta is preceded in death by her parents, John and Lucinda Patton; her sons: Duane Alan “Chip” Elliott (2/19/1997); Michael A. Elliott (12/7/1997); 3 sisters and 4 brothers.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at Deaton-clemens Funeral Home (115 S. Main St., Bourbon, IN 46504).

Graveside service will follow at 12 p.m. in Tippecanoe Cemetery (Tippecanoe, IN) with Pastor Larrie Kreft presiding.

Memorial donations may be made to Grace Outreach Fellowship (18575 State Road 331, Tippecanoe, IN 46570) for the Children’s Ministry.
