TUESDAY, MARCH 7

• The Plymouth Fire Department is hosting an American Red Cross Blood Drive from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 111 N. Center Street, Plymouth. They are taking Blood and Power Red Donations. Blood is the most common type of donation, during which approximat­ely a pint of ‘whole blood’ is given. This type of blood donation usually takes about an hour. Power Red is a donation that collects the red cells but returns most of the plasma and platelets to the donor. These donors must meet specific eligibilit­y requiremen­ts and have type A Neg, B Neg, or O blood. To reserve your spot, head to redcrossbl­ood.org or call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767).

• The Marshall County Genealogic­al Society will hold its March meeting on Tuesday, March 7 at 6 p.m. at the Marshall County Museum. Marshall County Genealogis­t Anita Watts Kopetski will speak on An In-depth Look at Marriage Records. The public is invited to attend. The museum is located at 123 N. Michigan, Plymouth. WEDNESDAY, MARCH 8

• Teen Cafe will be at the Bremen Public Library from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to play board games, eat snacks, and play the Nintendo Switch! This takes place every Wednesday from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. No registrati­on is required.

• The Plymouth Lincoln Class of 1958 will meet the month of March every Wednesday at the Brass Rail. We like to start at 11:30 a.m. If you have any questions e-mail or call Marilee 574-914-1878.

• The Plymouth Elks Lodge will be serving the following Wednesday Night Specials: fish basket, shrimp basket, smoked sausage with German fries. They’re serving from 5 p.m. till 7 p.m. Carry outs are available. For more informatio­n, contact 574-935-5511.

FRIDAY, MARCH 10

• The Plymouth Elks Lodge is having the following Friday Night Specials: Fish (AUCE), Beef and Noodles, Jumbo Shrimp, New York Strip Steak. The meal includes Salad Bar, potato, dessert. They’re serving from 5 p.m. till 8 p.m. Carry outs are available. For more informatio­n, call 574-935-5511.

• Come play Euchre every Friday at 1 p.m. at the Life Enrichment Center, located at 1305 W. Harrison Street in Plymouth. Beginners to experts, everyone is welcome.

• The Knights of Columbus is holding an All You Can Eat Lenten Fish Fry at 901 East Jefferson Street in Plymouth from 4 p.m. till 7 p.m. while supplies last. All tickets sold at the door or drive thru. Dinner includs Alaskan Pollock Fish, Green beans, cole slaw, and dessert. Drinks (inside only) include lemondade, water, tea, and coffee. • The first Brown Bag Lunch Event of 2023 will be held at the Marshall County Historical Society Museum and Crossroads Center. It will be from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. The topic will be Alexis Menominee, Benjamin Marie Petit, and the French Mission to the Potawatomi. SATURDAY, MARCH 11

• The Deacons of Walnut Church of the Brethren will be having a soup supper on March 11 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The menu includes a variety of soups, sandwiches, veggies, chips, desserts, and drinks. A free will donation will be taken with all proceeds going to the community outreach program of the church. The church is located at 5975 19th Road, Argos.

• NIPSCO retirees monthly luncheon is on March 14 at 11:30 a.m. at The Brass Rail. All retirees, friends, and relatives are welcome.
