Chad E. Watkins October 10, 1972 - March 6, 2023

Chad E. Watkins, 50 years old, passed away unexpectedly at 8:11 a.m. on Monday, March 6, 2023 at Davita Irish Dialysis, South Bend. Chad was born on Oct. 10, 1972 in Indianapolis, IN to the late James and Carolyn (Moore) Watkins. He has lived in Marshall County most of his life. Chad was a service technician for Pepsi. He enjoyed tractor pulling and fixing anything, especially cars. Chad enjoyed woodworking as well. He was supportive and involved with the Marshall County Blueberry Festival for 15 years and was a 1991 graduate of Laville Jr.-sr. High School.

Chad is survived by his companion with whom he made his home, Amy Grove of Etna Green, IN; daughter, Regan Watkins of Plymouth; his sister, Janet Hinton of Etna Green. Along with his parents, Chad was preceded in death by his brother, Jay E. Watkins; brother-in-law, Charles Hinton; and two infant twin nieces, Hannah and Heidi Howard.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 10, 2023 at the Palmer Funeral Home, within the Palmer Community Complex, 601 N. Michigan Street, Lakeville. Pastor Johnny Shoffner will officiate. Graveside services and burial will follow at Bremen Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family beginning at 11 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
