SATURDAY, MAY 20

• The Maxinkucke­e Singers and Players is presenting their Spring Tour at The Rees Theatre, located at 100 N. Michigan Street in Plymouth. The show starts at 7 p.m. EST, doors open at 6:30 p.m. EST. Free admission.

• Musicians of the Marshall County Church Orchestra present a Chamber Music Concert at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, May 20, 7:30 p.m., 612 N. Walnut St., Plymouth (enter through the doors on Center St.). Free Will donations will be welcomed. 100% of donations will be used for financial assistance of young musicians where extra lessons could lift their playing ability and confidence. • The Marshall County Genealogic­al Society will hold a meeting on Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Marshall County Museum. Popular genealogy speaker Monty Peden will present the second of three classes on beginning genealogy. The public is invited to attend. The museum is located at 123 N. Michigan, Plymouth. Please RSVP to the museum at 574-936-2306 if you will be attending to ensure we have enough materials.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 24

• Brief Legal Clinic is today at noon at Marshall County Council on Aging/life Enrichment Center, 1305 W. Harrison St., Plymouth. Free 30-minute consultati­on sessions with an attorney are scheduled by calling us at 574-936-9904. No walk-ins are accepted.

• Teen Cafe will be at the Bremen Public Library from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to play board games, eat snacks, and play the Nintendo Switch. This is held every Wednesday from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. No registrati­on required.

• The Class of 1958 will have their May Luncheons every Wednesday, at 11:30 a.m. at Hacienda Mexican Restaurant, located at 2862 Miller Drive, Plymouth. Please come and enjoy being with your classmates.

THURSDAY, MAY 25

• There will be a blood drive at the Knights of Columbus, located at 901 East Jefferson Street in Plymouth from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Blood and Power Red donations are being taken. Blood is the most common type of donation, during which approximat­ely a pint of ‘whole blood’ is given. This type of blood donation usually takes about an hour. A Power Red donation collects the red cells but returns most of the plasma and platelets to the donor. THURSDAY, JUNE 1

• Marshall County Retired Teachers Associatio­n will meet on June 1 at Summit Chapel School. Gathering time is at 11 am with lunch served at 11:30 am. The program will be presented by Portia Wampler who will bring to life a typical lesson as it would have been taught over 100 years ago. Karin Rettinger will give a history of the school. Reservatio­ns need to be made with Marj Snider at 574-936-2927 by MAY 27. To get to the school go three miles south of Bourbon on 331 and then turn east on State Road 10. The school is located on the north side of SR 10, two miles east of 331.

MONDAY, JUNE 5

• Notice is hereby given that the Bremen Police Commission will meet on Monday, June 5, and Monday, July 3 for their regular meeting, at 3:30 p.m. at the Bremen Town Hall, 104 W. Plymouth St., Bremen. The public is invited to attend, and the Council shall transact all such business as normally comes before the meeting.
