ALL-HNAC, softball leaders named
LAKEVILLE — The Hoosier North Athletic Conference softball coaches met and selected the ALL-HNAC team for the 2023 season.
Laville's Heaylyn Kwiatkowski earned first-team honors leading the league with a .600 batting average and .675 on-base percentage, and seventh in stolen bases with 14. Laville's Caitlyn Goffinet, and Olivia Markin on earning honorable mention all-conference recognition.
Triton's Lena Doll was also a first-team member leading the league with 183 strikeouts. Triton's Hannah Snyder was honorable mention and was fifth in the HNAC in fielding percentage with a .985.
Culver placed Luci Overmyer on the first team. Kaitlyn Kanschat, and Gracie Milam were named honorable mention.
Caston won the 2023 HNAC softball and finished conference action with a 7-0 record. Kinzie Mollenkopf of Caston was selected as the HNAC softball's most valuable player.
