Three arrested after 911 call
On Friday, Nov. 24 at approximately 1:51 a.m. Plymouth Police responded to the area of Fifth Street and Lake Avenue for an unknown issue after a 911 call. Upon arrival, Plymouth Officers located a group of people standing outside 106 S. Fifth Street. It was quickly determined that an argument and possibly a physical altercation had occurred. While officers attempted to investigate the matter, Melissa Hernandez refused to leave the area and became combative. Melissa resisted law enforcement, and while taking her into custody, a male later identified as Ismel Rodriguez, began to interfere and also resisted law enforcement before being taken into custody. Once the group of people dispersed, a male who was believed to be intoxicated was seen leaving the area in a vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Gerardo Throchez Hernandez, was determined to be operating a vehicle while intoxicated and operating without ever receiving a license. All three individuals were transported to the Marshall County Jail.
Melissa Hernandez is pending criminal charges of Battery on Law Enforcement, Resisting Law Enforcement, Encroachment, and Disorderly Conduct.
Ismel Rodriguez - Encroachment, Resisting Law Enforcement, and Disorderly Conduct.
