FRIDAY, DECEMBER 1

• On Friday, Dec. 1 Bremen will have a Holy Walk that celebrates the birth of Jesus. this starts at 6 a.m. on Friday and runs will Saturday, Dec. 2.

• the French Press Coffee Company will play A Christmas Carol from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 1 there will be light refreshments.

• On Friday, Dec.1 the Denver & the Mile High Orchestra will be performing on their Merry & Bright Concert at the REES theater in Plymouth. the Denver & the Mile High Orchestra are known for their horn section and power-pop vocals that are combined with their jazz and big band roots. they have release four Christmas albums and have toured for nearly two decades.

• the Family Christmas Celebration at the Church of the Heartland is on February, Dec. 1 starting at 6 p.m. those in attendance will receive free professional pictures with Santa. Families can also take family pictures without Santa. Hot Chocolate and refreshments will be served. Kids who attend can shop for Christmas gifts for their parents at the event.

• For the second year the Bremen Public Library will be helping teens in need with their Giving tree. this will begin on Friday, Dec. 1. Hats, scarves and gloves will be put in the Young Adult room during Dec. Donations are accepted but must be purchased new and without odor.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 2

• the third annual Santa at the Lake will be held on Saturday, Dec. 2 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Bremen Conservation Club located at 8745 North Shore Drive. Santa and Mrs. Clause will make their way around the lake on a fire truck and then will take pictures with families. there will be crafts, cookies, cocoa and presents.

• On Saturday, Dec. 2 from 1 to 2 p.m. the Bremen Public Library is hosting a Puzzle Exchange event. People are invited to bring puzzles, enjoy refreshments and connect with other people in the are who also enjoy puzzles.
