Billy Gene Trent, 42, of

Bourbon, IN, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Dec. 8, 2023.

Billy was born to Mark and Armine (Campbell) Trent, Sr. on Nov. 14, 1981, in Lexington, KY.

He was a graduate of Bremen High School in 2000. He was a tattoo artist, owning his own business, Uptown Ink, LLC of Bremen. He loved designing tattoos for people and himself, hunting, riding, and working on his Harley Davidson motorcycle, he attended all the children’s sporting and school events, and he was a very devoted father.

Billy will be missed by his daughter, Shade Trent of Bourbon, IN; stepchildren: Audree Marshall of Bourbon, IN; and Brian Wescher of Bourbon, IN; his girlfriend, Erica Wescher; his brother, Mark (Charity) Trent, Jr. of South Bend, IN; his father, Mark Trent, Sr.; and his grandmother, Maxine Smith of Jackson, Ky.

Billy is preceded in death by his mother, Armine Trent on Dec. 4, 2018, and his grandfather, Donald Earl Trent; his grandmother, Nannie Bell Campbell; and his grandfather, Cliso Campbell.

The visitation will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Deaton-clemens Funeral Home (115 S. Main Street, Bourbon, IN 46504).

A funeral service will follow on Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Deaton-clemens Funeral Home (115 S. Main Street, Bourbon, IN 46504) with Kim Haining officiating. The burial will take place in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, (Bourbon, IN) following the funeral services.

Memorial donations may be made to American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (14350 Mundy Drive Suite 800-199, Noblesville, IN 46060) in Billy’s memory.
