Wanda Sue Overmyer

Wanda Sue (Savage) Overmyer, 87 of Argos, Indiana passed away April 23, 2024, at 4:44 a.m. at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne, Indiana. On Sept. 12, 1936, in Plymouth, Indiana she was born to Stephen Savage and Ruth (Mahler) Savage. She lived in the Argos community for 64 years, having lived all her life in Marshall County, Indiana. On Sept. 20, 1960, at the Santa Anna United Methodist Church in Argos, Indiana she married Arthur “Art” Earl Overmyer and for 64 years they shared the joys, worries, tenderness, and companions­hip of their married life. Wanda worked at the State Exchange Bank in Culver, Indiana, she also had worked at Pioneer as a Corn Sorter and Cressner Abstract and Title Company both of Plymouth, Indiana. She was a member of Santa Anna United Methodist Church, Argos, Indiana; and Walnut Ruralettes Extension Club of Argos, Indiana. Wanda was a graduate of Culver High School with the class of 1954. Wanda is survived by her Husband – Arthur “Art” Overmyer of Argos, Indiana Son – Thomas Earl Overmyer and wife Lisa of Argos, Indiana Daughter – Joetta Sue Overmyer and Jerry Chizum of Argos, Indiana Grand Children – Seth Overmyer and wife Jessica of Argos, Indiana; and Casey Lewis and husband Josh of Argos, Indiana 7 Great Grandchild­ren Brother – Daniel Savage and wife Jan of Argos, Indiana She is preceded in death by her Parents Friends may visit with the family on Sunday April 28, 2024, from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. at Earl-grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos, Indiana. Funeral Services will be Monday April 29, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Cindy Flagg. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos, Indiana.
