TUESDAY, APRIL 30

• The Maxinkucke­e Singers and Players will begin their spring tour on Tuesday, April 30 with a show at the Missionary Church located at 2958 Elm Rd. in Bremen. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 7:30.

• Music and Move at the Bremen Public Library will take place on Tuesday, April 30 from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Toddlers and preschoole­rs will dance to songs followed by a cool-down stretch. Adults must attend with their child.

• Cookies and Canvas Jr. at the Bremen Public Library will be held on Tuesday, April 30 from 4 to 5 p.m. This is for kids in preschool (age 5) to 2nd grade. This will be simple painting to open the children up to the arts. It is suggested that kids wear clothes that can get dirty.

• Storytime at the Culver-union Township Public Library will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 30.

• Culver-union Township’s Guitar 101 activity will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 1

• The Plymouth Class of 58 will meet at the Sunrise House of Pancakes, on Wed., May 1. They are located at 2882 Miller Dr. Plymouth, IN. Meeting at 11:30 a.m. Call Marilee if you have a question.

• On Wednesday, May 1 the Maxinkucke­e Singers and Players will perform in Rochester at the Grace United Methodist Church located at 201 W. 7th St. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m.

• There will be a blood drive at American Legion Post 400, located at 302 Lakeside Drive in Walkerton from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Blood and Power Red donations are being taken. Blood is the most common type of donation, during which approximat­ely a pint of ‘whole blood’ is given. This type of blood donation usually takes about an hour. A Power Red donation collects the red cells but returns most of the plasma and platelets to the donor. These donors must meet specific eligibilit­y requiremen­ts and have type A Neg, B Neg, or O Blood. To reserve your spot, visit www.redcrossbl­ood.org or call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-7332767).

• Bremen Public Library’s Wiggle Worms will meet from 9:30 to 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 1. This is an interactiv­e storytime for kids ages 0-5 and their adult.

• Bremen Public Library’s Teen Cafe will meet from 3:30 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1. Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to play board games, eat snacks and play the Nintendo Switch.

• Bremen Public Library’s I Can Do It! will meet from 4 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1. This is for hands on activities for kids ages 4-6. This helps reinforce fine motor and literacy skills.

• A Veteran Service Officer is now available every Wednesday from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at our building, the Life Enrichment Center/marshall County Council on Aging, 1305 W. Harrison St., Plymouth. The Service Officer is able to answer questions you may have and assist veterans with starting the initial paperwork to file their claim(s). No appointmen­ts are necessary, just stop by and take your turn at this walk-in clinic.

THURSDAY, MAY 2

• The Maxinkucke­e Singers and Players will perform on Thursday, May 2 at the United Methodist Church in Knox. This is located at 201 S. Shield St. Doors open at 7 p.m. est and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. est.

• Marshall County Retired Teachers Associatio­n will meet on May 2 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Plymouth. Gathering time begins at 11 am with lunch served at 11:30 am. After lunch and a brief business meeting we will tour the North Central Career Technical Education Center’s Aviation Flight and Management Program taught at the Plymouth Municipal Airport. • Preschool Storytime at the Bremen Public Library will be from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. on Thursday, May 2. This is for kids 3-5 who are ready to attend independen­tly.

• Anime-tion Club at the Bremen Public Library will meet from 4 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 2. Students in grades 6-12 are invited to watch a selected animated series followed by a discussion.

• Bremen Public Library’s Silent Reading Club will meet on Thursday, May 2 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. This is for introverts who find regular book clubs intimidati­ng. Those who attend can bring their own e-reader or book to the library or they can grab a book for the library’s shelf to enjoy by themselves. Lanyards will be available at the adult desk for anyone at the club that would be open to tap about their books.

SATURDAY, MAY 4

• Teen Book Club at the Culverunio­n Township Public Library will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 4.

• On Monday, May 6 the Maxinkucke­e Singers and Players will put on a show at the Church of the Brethren located at 1130 N. Michigan St. in Plymouth. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m.

• Bremen Public Library’s Overbooked will meet on Monday, May 6 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. This club is lead by Sonia Hernandez.

TUESDAY, MAY 7

• The United Methodist Church in Argos will host the Maxinkucke­e Singers and Players on Tuesday, May 7. This is located at 570 N. Michigan St. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m.

• The Marshall County Genealogic­al Society will hold its monthly meeting on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at 6 p.m. at the Marshall County Museum. Jenny Harness will explain why we should “Never Plant Anything in a Cemetery Ever”. The public is invited to attend. The museum is located at 123 N. Michigan, Plymouth.

• Music and Move at the Bremen Public Library will take place from 9:30 to 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 7. This activity is designed for toddlers and preschoole­rs. Kids will dance and end with a cool-down stretch.

• Bremen Public Library will hold their Let’s Build Legos meeting on Tuesday, May 7 from 4 to 5 p.m. Kids in grades 1-5 can join for building fun.

• Paint Your Own Canvas at the Bremen Public Library from 5 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7. This is for people 16 years old and older.

• The Once Upon a Crime Book Club will meet at the Bremen Public Library from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Darla Kiefer leads the club.

• Culver-union Township Public Library will have storytime at 10:30 a.m.
