FRIDAY, MAY 10

• The third Brown Bag Lunch and Lecture Series at the Marshall County Historical Society and Museum on Friday, May 10 from 12 to 1 p.m. This event will feature John Houghton who will speak about Daniel Mcdonald, Al Toner and the Vandalia Railroad.

• Brief Legal Clinic is today at 12 noon at Marshall County Council on Aging/life Enrichment Center, Free 30-minute consultati­on sessions with an attorney are scheduled by calling us at (574)936-9904. No walk-ins are accepted.

• Culver-union Township Public Library’s Movie Day will be at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, May 10.

SATURDAY, MAY 11

• The final show of the Maxinkucke­e Singers and Players Spring Tour will take place on Saturday, May 11 at the REES Theatre in Plymouth located at 100 N. Michigan St. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show begins at 7 p.m.

• Bremen Public Library will be putting on a Mommy and Me Mani on Saturday, May 11 from 11 a.m. to celebrate mothers day. A licensed cosmetolog­ist will be instructin­g and assisting. All adult/ child pairings are welcome but there is a limit to two kids per adult. Supplies will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own.

• Saturday Sounds at the Center will take place at the Heartland Art Center located at 214 N. Michigan St. in Plymouth on Saturday, May 11 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Rhonda Kinney will be performing live music that people can enjoy while viewing the art at the center. There is no fee but a tip jar will be available for Kinney as she is performing for free.

MONDAY, MAY 13

• AA meets Monday evening at 8 p.m., 1st United Church of Christ, rear basement entry. Other meeting info will be available. Or call 574-341-3337.

• STEAM at the Bremen Public Library will meet from 4 to 5 p.m. on Monday, May 13. Kids in grades 4 and up can gather in the children’s programmin­g to explore experiment­s and other activities to get their minds moving.

• Night Owls Book Club at the Bremen Public Library will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. on Monday, May 13.

• Come join the Friendship Quilters group today at 1 p.m. for an Open Sew afternoon. Bring your sewing machine, extension cord, and project to work on as you visit, share ideas and learn tips and tricks of sewing. This fun activity will be at the Life Enrichment Center/ Marshall County Council on Aging, 1305 W. Harrison Street, Plymouth. IN.

TUESDAY, MAY 14

• The Lincoln High School Class of ’59 will be meeting for their monthly luncheon at Christo’s at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 14. Call 574-540-9194 if you plan to attend.

• On Tuesday, May 14 the Bremen Public Library will host Music and Move from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Toddlers and preschoole­rs can dance to songs and end with a cool down stretch. Adults must attend with their child.

• A new series - Health Talks, is today at 2:00pm Laurie Schauer L.P.N from Traditions Hospice will be at the Marshall County Council on Aging/life Enrichment Center , 1305 W. Harrison St., Plymouth monthly to talk about various health topics.

May's topic is Sleep . Plan to attend the 2nd Tuesday of the month to learn about many health-related topics

• Cookies and Canvas at the Bremen Public Library will meet from 4 to 5 p.m. This is for kids in grades 3-5. Register by calling 574-546-2849.

• Pinterest Night at the Bremen Public Library will meet from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14. This is for people 16 years old and older.

• Culver-union Township Public Library’s storytime will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 14.

• Music with Ms. Autumn at the Culver-union Township Public Library will meet at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 15

• A Veteran Service Officer is now available every Wednesday from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at our building, the Life Enrichment Center/marshall County Council on Aging, 1305 W. Harrison St., Plymouth. The Service Officer is able to answer questions you may have and assist veterans with starting the initial paperwork to file their claim(s). No appointmen­ts are necessary, just stop by and take your turn at this walk-in clinic.

• Saint Joseph Health System is bringing back their Mobile Medical Unit to the parking lot of

Marshall County Council on Aging/life Enrichment Center, 1305 W. Harrison St., Plymouth monthly. Mammogram screenings are offered in the Unit. Appointmen­ts are preferred but walkins are welcome as their schedule permits. Call 1.888.455.4450 or 574-335-4500 to schedule an appointmen­t. This is a quick and efficient way to get a mammogram screening. Don’t delay getting this necessary screening.

• Got Milk (Alternativ­es)? This program will take a look at what's out there in the dairy and nondairy world. This class will take place at the Life Enrichment Center/ Marshall County Council on Aging, 1305 W. Harrison Street, Plymouth. IN. • Wiggle Worms will meet at the Bremen Public Library from 9:30 to 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 15. This is an interactiv­e story time for little ones, ages 0-5 and their adult.

• Bremen Public Library’s Readers Book Club will meet from 2:15 to 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15. Terrie Bickel is the leader of the club.
