San­dra Anita (Wicks) Vaughan of South Ch­ester­field passed away on Wed­nes­day, De­cem­ber 5, 2018. Born in Rich­mond, she was the daugh­ter of the late Sa­muel L. and Annabelle Crank Wicks, and was pre­ceded in death by a grand­son, Bran­don Vaughan. Mrs. Vaughan was a mem­ber of Com­mu­nity Chris­tian Fel­low­ship in Ch­ester­field.

She is sur­vived by her hus­band of 57 years, Al­ton L. Vaughan Sr.; her chil­dren, Lorenzo Vaughan (Scott), An­gela Vaughan, Al­ton Vaughan Jr. (Lisa), and Den­zel Vaughan (Dawn); eight grand­chil­dren, Heather Way, Greg­gory Vaughan, Jesse Vaughan, Tatum Farmer, Den­zel Vaughan Jr., Aaron Vaughan, Des­tiny Cur­tis and Ryan Wilkins; seven great­grand­chil­dren; a sis­ter, Pa­tri­cia Fick (John); a niece, Becky Bur­ton; and a nephew, Ryan Fick.

A fu­neral ser­vice will be held at 11:00 a.m. Satur­day, De­cem­ber 8, 2018, at the Colo­nial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Fu­neral Homes & Cre­ma­tory, 2033 Boule­vard, Colo­nial Heights, Vir­ginia 23834 with the Rev­erend Jim Bur­ton of­fi­ci­at­ing. In­ter­ment will fol­low in East Ma­toaca Ceme­tery, S. Ch­ester­field. The fam­ily will re­ceive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Fri­day, De­cem­ber 7, 2018, at the fu­neral home. Con­do­lences may be reg­is­tered at www. ealvins­mall.com.
