Bert Gary Stevens, 76, of Prince Ge­orge, passed away on Satur­day, April 7, 2018. He was the son of the late Bert W. and Ru­ble Nash Stevens.

Mr. Stevens was a mem­ber of Gary’s United Methodist Church, a re­tired long-haul truck driver and a United States Air Force vet­eran.

He is sur­vived by his daugh­ters, Va­lerie Bloe­meke (Thomas) of North Carolina, Chris­tine Stevens (Jerry Tarnopol) of Texas and Stephanie Stevens of Ne­vada; two grand­sons, Tren­ton Sim­mons and Ethan Tarnopol; sis­ters, Teresa Stevens Byrd of Me­chan­icsville, Vir­ginia and Karen Stevens Han­cock (Tex) of Dublin, Vir­ginia; nu­mer­ous nieces & neph­ews; beloved com­pan­ion, Linda L. Hen­son; step­daugh­ters, Michelle Camp (Jody) and Teresa K. Smith (Mark) all of Colo­nial Heights; five grand­chil­dren, J.D. Camp (Sa­man­tha), Re­becca Camp, Tif­fany Camp, Ash­ley Smith and Danielle Smith; one great­grand­son, Joseph Camp Jr.

A memorial ser­vice will be held at 2 p.m. Fri­day, April 20, 2018 at Gary’s United Methodist Church, 13501 Sun­ny­brook Road, S. Prince Ge­orge, Vir­ginia 23805.
