Surrounded by her loving daughters, Mrs. Eva Mae Parham Walker, 93, of 19011 Shady Lane, Carson, VA, transcended from her Earthly home to her Heavenly home on Friday, April 13, 2018, at her daughters residence. Eva Mae was born on March 8, 1925, to the late Johnny and Virginia Harvell Parham in Carson, VA.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Mr. John S. Walker; eight siblings, Hayward, Earl, Taft, Frank, Cecil, Kenneth, Lawrence and Leon Parham,;her son-in-law, Samuel Earl Jackson; a granddaughter, Andrea Jackson Trotter; and a greatgrandson, DeAndre’ Simmons.
Eva Mae confessed her Love for Christ at an early age and joined Little Zion Baptist Church, Carson, Virginia.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories, three loving and devoted daughters, Mrs. Melvina Simmons of N. Dinwiddie, VA, Mrs. Odessa Jackson and Vivian Coles, both of Petersburg, VA; two sons-in-law, Kaiser Simmons and Joseph Coles (Buck); ten grandchildren, devoted, Tarreyton Walker of Carson, VA, Alisia W. Lewis (Curtis) of N. Dinwiddie, VA, Forles S. Flowers (Mark) of Petersburg, VA, Shelcee S. Parris (Nay) of N. Dinwiddie, VA, Arlene Simmons of N. Dinwiddie, Alton Coles of N. Dinwiddie, devoted, Daphne Walker (Dee Dee) of Petersburg, Shelby Coles of Petersburg, Dominick Jackson (Marsha) of Prince George and Vonetta Jackson of Petersburg; 23 great grandchildren, 32 great great grandchildren, a devoted great grandson, Javonte Coles of Petersburg, a host of nieces and nephews, devoted, William Cecil Parham, Jr. (Margaret) of Carson, cousins, other relatives and friends too numerous to name and the Little Zion Baptist Church Family, Carson.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted 2 PM, Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at Little Zion Baptist Church, Carson with the Pastor Rev. Dr. Darren T. Brandon, officiating. NORMAN S. WHITE
Norman S. White, 93, of Chester, Va., departed this life April 12, 2018, at Chippenham Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of many years, Gertrude J. White; daughter, Arlene Henderson; seven sisters; and one brother.
Norman leaves to cherish his memory his grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends, among them devoted nephew, Clarence White Sr. (Mary).
Remains rest at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull Street. Funeral service will be Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at Calvary Temple Church, 110 N. Dunlop Street, at 12 p.m. Apostle Wesley Taylor officiating. Interment Sunset Memorial Park.
