Golf tour­ney resched­uled

PETERS­BURG — Af­ter weather forced the post­pone­ment of the Ro­tary Clubs’ “Ser­vice Above Self” Golf Tour­na­ment, the Clubs set a new date of Mon­day, Oc­to­ber 15, with the dead­line for reg­is­tra­tions moved to Mon­day, Oc­to­ber 8. The tour­na­ment will be held at Peters­burg’s Dog­wood Trace Golf Course. This year’s pro­ceeds will ben­e­fit area youth pro­grams.

The prin­ci­pal spon­sor is Co­lum­bia Gas of Vir­ginia. Hole spon­sor­ships are avail­able at the Gold ($500), in­clud­ing four play­ers, a hole sign, and name and logo in the pro­gram; and Sil­ver ($200) lev­els, en­ti­tling the spon­sor to a hole sign and name and logo in the pro­gram.

Team ap­pli­ca­tions are $340, which in­cludes green fees, carts, re­fresh­ments, lunch, and din­ner; and the fee for in­di­vid­ual play­ers is $85.
