WILBUR J. PRITCHETT
Mr. Wilbur Junior Pritchett, 47, of Petersburg, VA, transitioned from this life on Friday, October 5, 2018. Junior or Will, as he was better known, was born on October 1, 1971, to Wilbert Dickerson and Lilly M. Pritchett. He was preceded in death by his oldest brother, Roswell E. Friend, Sr.; nephew, Roswell E. Friend, Jr.; uncle, Alex Pritchett, Sr.; great-aunt, Mary Howard; grandfather, Henry Davis; and step-grandfather, William M. Wynn, Sr.
Junior was employed at Virginia Textile Service, Inc. and Colonial Cleaning Services, Inc. He attended Dinwiddie County Public Schools and later moved to Petersburg, VA, with his family where he attended Petersburg City Public Schools. He loved attending sporting events to support his son. Junior loved reading and posting on Facebook.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 13, 2018, at Mount Poole Baptist Church, 9515 Baltimore Road, Ford, VA, the Rev. Jameson K. McLaughlin, Eulogist, Pastor of New Hope Baptist Church, Waverly, VA, and Assistant Pastor of Mount Olivet Baptist Church, Petersburg, VA. The interment will be held at Mount Poole Baptist Church.
The family will assemble 10:00 a.m. at 1931 Wakefield Street, Petersburg, VA 23805 the day of the service. The family will receive relatives and friends at the residence and can be contacted at 804-712-9931. The body may be viewed on Friday, October
12, 2018, from 10am to 8pm at the funeral home in Petersburg and at the church one hour prior to the service.
