His­toric Hopewell Foun­da­tion hosts 10th an­nual auc­tion

HOPEWELL — On Satur­day, Nov. 3, the His­toric Hopewell Foun­da­tion will host an auc­tion to raise money for the his­toric Weston Manor, St. Den­nis Chapel, and other sites around Hopewell. This year marks the 10th year of these fes­tiv­i­ties.

The auc­tion will take place at Gun­cot­ton Cof­fee and Gallery,238 E. Broad­way Ave. in down­town Hopewell at 5 p.m.

The new busi­ness served as the venue last year, fea­tur­ing fes­tive decor, drinks avail­able for buy­ers and an el­e­gant din­ner.

There were many items avail­able for pur­chase, in both the silent and live auc­tion, and a game of “Heads or Tails” where the win­ner won jew­elry. In one room items such as trips, clothes, glasses, paint­ings, jew­elry, house­wares, pies and oth­ers were on dis­play. Items from last year’s live auc­tion in­cluded more paint­ings, jew­elry, trips, a plasma TV, and more.
