Max A. Tutt, 78, of Rich­mond, for­merly of Colo­nial Heights, passed away Mon­day, Oc­to­ber 8, 2018. He was pre­ceded in death by a brother and a sis­ter; and is sur­vived by his lov­ing and de­voted wife of 57 years, An­toni­etta Tutt; two boys, Michael and Kevin; brother, Bob Tutt; sis­ter, Joan Sisk; and many other lov­ing fam­ily mem­bers. Max was a dec­o­rated re­tired vet­eran in the U.S. Army, hav­ing served two tours in Viet­nam. He will be re­mem­bered for his brav­ery, courage and as a lov­ing and de­voted hus­band and fa­ther.

The fam­ily will re­ceive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Sun­day, Oc­to­ber 14, at Bliley’s-Cen­tral, 3801 Au­gusta Ave., where a Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Mass of Chris­tian Burial will be cel­e­brated 10 a.m. Mon­day, Oc­to­ber 15, at St. Brid­get Catholic Church, 6006 Three Chopt Rd. In­ter­ment will be held in Ar­ling­ton Na­tional Ceme­tery at a later date. In lieu of flow­ers, memo­rial con­tri­bu­tions may be made to the Parkin­son's Foun­da­tion or the Rich­mond Fisher House and Foun­da­tion.
