Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in what’s to be,
A resting place along the road,
To sweet eternity. On November 2, 2018, God in his infinite wisdom peacefully called to eternal rest a quiet woman of courage, strength, and wisdom, our beloved Jearline Gilliam, 71 of 8508 Coleman Lake Road, Ford, VA.

She was a former employee of Titmus Optical, Petersburg, VA, with 28 years of service and retired from the Nutrition Department of the Dinwiddie County Public School System. She was currently employed parttime with The VA Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control. Jearline was a member of Mount Level Baptist Church, Amelia, VA, but attended Mount Poole Baptist Church, Ford, and Olive Branch Baptist Church, Dinwiddie, VA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Capus and Lerline Worsham; sisters, Carline Worsham and Lillian Bland; brother, Leon Worsham.

Gilliam (Dominick), all of North Dinwiddie; sister, Bernice Brown (Jimmy, deceased), Richmond; brothers, Lloyd Worsham, North Chesterfield and James Worsham, Petersburg.
